  • AIN'T LIFE GRAND!

Just a few pictures from our visit with Moma this afternoon. When we got there she was in the lunch line so my son went on and sat down at her table and waited for her undetected. (Which was even funnier because she knew he was in town and was expecting him later that day.) I got this great photo when she saw her grandson...

After helping me buy the last of the Thanksgiving groceries he stopped by Sonic and got us all a treat. Moma was really getting into the coke float her grandson brought her...

  • YAY for Trey being home and for your mom doing well and not having to
bake any pies! haha  It is NICE having help isn't it! haha  I enjoyed
that kind of help last Friday when my daugther told me she wanted to
make the snack for bible study that night.    How nice!

Hope you have a wonderful thanksgiving!  I'm so thankful for you!

  • Love the pictures.  Trey looks great.    Hope all goes well and you all have a great time.

I have to get showered and ready to go to the hospital with Ken.  He thinks he won't be able to find the clinic.  He is a little worried that they might be taking the stitches out too soon.  Then at 11:30 he has an appt. with our new primary care taker to get his blood pressure pills renewed.  I am sure she will set him up for some tests.  They are supposed to be keeping a close watch on his blood sugar for diabetes.

I have a million things to do today.  The last of the paperwork is being filed so it shouldn't be long before Steve comes to get Kurik.  I will be glad when everyone gets settled.

Little man didn't feel good last night  Hope he isn't getting sick.

Happy Thanksgiving and hope you have a blast.

    Love D

  • What great pictures of both your mom and son.  What special memories for him to buy his grandma a coke float.  That sounds good!!!  The front they have been telling us about is coming in full "blown", if you read between the lines.  So, our Thanksgiving will be cold and windy.  Have a great day in your new house.

  • This warms my heart - I am so glad she had that wonderful surprise. Praying you have a blessed Thanksgiving.
