ANOTHER DAY IN BED
10:07 a.m.Feeling a bit better today. The fever and chills and body aches are gone. Now its' mostly all just concentrated in my ears nose and throat. I feel like I'm trying to breath underwater. Needless to say I have no energy.... Heading back to bed now. Gonna try to read a bit more of my Lisa Bevere book if I can stay awake. I'll leave you with a quote from it that lept off the page at me yesterday:
"Adam's side was opened and the woman Eve was created, just as the side of Jesus Christ was opened and His church was brought forth."
Somehow I've never connected the two before. Sure colors the scriptures from Ephesians 5 on marriage with deeper meaning!
4:10 p.m. Woke up from my second nap of the day feeling parched, but much better. I feel like I could drink a gallon and a shower is starting to sound inviting... Just to be safe, I'm going to laze around the rest of the day. Hopefully tomorrow I will be all better!

THESE ARE THE SCRIPTURES I WAS REFERRING TO: Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it, just as Christ does the church— for we are members of his body. "For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh."This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church. However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.
The boys got their assignment. Fort Meade Maryland. They are excited.
Hope you are feeling better.
Gotta get busy.
I'm glad you are feeling better. I haven't felt well this week, but today is some better. It might have to do with the fact that I get to go running around with my hubby! He will be here to pick me up soon, and I am so excited.
I loved the quote. The mystery of marriage has always been a special doctrine to me, and I am so blessed that my hubby truly tries to love me as Christ loves the church. I'm not so sure he got as good a deal!
I hope your feeling better today. That book looks really good reading, I enjoy her and her husband books!
Take care of yourself and I am praying you feel better soon!
Glad to hear you are on the mend...Take of you and don't overdo! Get well soon. Saying a prayer or two for you today!
