• LIFE IS GOOD!

  Life is good. So far this has been maybe the best week I've had since we moved here. My new little great-niece is just precious. Hubby and her grandfather both declare she looks just like them. One thing is for sure she has hubby's mouth.

   

  • We've had the inlaws out for supper several times this week as their DiL who lives next door is out of town this week. And I get to keep my great nephew tomorrow.

  

  • I was welcomed into the worship team (choir, band, lead vocals) at our new church this week. My first practice was last night and I had an absolute ball. I'm pretty excited about getting to sing with them tonight! Also God has crossed my path with some folks who are walking through some places I've already been, so I've had a chance to minister a bit.
  • This weekend we are going to go spend a few days with my oldest brother before his next chemo. Looking forward to a good visit and of course we'll pray over him while we are there.
  • But best of all, after fourteen months, I have found a friend. An old running buddy from when I lived here 24 years ago and I rediscovered each other a few weeks ago and have been meeting for lunch. We are getting to know each other all over again and finding more things in common all the time. Helps that we go to church together. We also have some couple friends we have been meeting for Sunday lunch.

  Yep, life is good!
